Wash Guide
- Always refer to the instructions given on the
care label found on the inside of the garment
- Always follow the instructions carefully as they
will be specific to that item
- Try and match the washing symbols on your garment
(the number in the wash tub) with those on your washing
machine, although this will not always be possible
- Wash your clothes inside out as this will preserve
colour and reduce wear
- Machine-washing is preferable to hand-washing,
subject to eligibility
- Wash your delicates in a special "wash bag" or
alternatively in a pillowcase
- For machine-washable wool items a short wash cycle
and gentle spin are essential
- When hand-washing only use a small amount of liquid
detergent and do not soak or wring the items
- If you have bought matching items, try and wash
them together to avoid any slight variation in colour
- Dry cleaning should be carried out by a professional
dry cleaner
- Where possible we try and advise you of any specific
care instructions in our descriptions of the clothing
items
